We owe the Krˆller-M¸ller Museum, in the Veluwe region of the Netherlands, to HÈlËne Krˆller-M¸ller (1869-1939), who started collecting modern art in 1908. In 1935 she donated her collection - which includes many works by Vincent van Gogh - to the Dutch state. The museum is also known for its sculpture garden.
